On a hot day, you can travel 2 km to Jihlava aquapark Water Paradise or swimming pool on Rošického street. Another nice place for water enthusiasts is Havlíčkův Brod swimming pool, with seawater, steam room, sauna and massage parlour. If you prefer a truly natural swimming experience, then we recommend a visit to flooded quarry at Upper Cerekev (20 km).

In the vicinity of Jihlava, you can visit the beautiful city and conservation area Telč. . The castle, park and entire area is UNESCO heritage site. If you fancy first-hand experience of medieval times, go to Rokštejn ruin or Roštejn castle. Directly in Jihlava you can visit the underground labyrinth system, whose origins date back to the 14th century.

If you consider yourself an adventurer, you might want to try sightseeing flights at airport Henčov 6 km from here. You can sky dive alone, or in tandem. For airship lovers it is possible to organize hot-air balloon trip over Jihlava (see www.ostrov-pohoda.cz ).
